In Hye Park

    Biography

    Ms. In Hae Park is an official successor of National Intangible Cultural Heritage Korea No.5 “Pansori.” Pansori is referred to as ‘Korean Opera’ or ‘Korean Epic Chant,’ which is a dramatic music form of musical storytelling.
    Ms. Park has received numerous awards nationwide and on global stages, such as Best Album in Jazz & Crossover from the 17th Korean Popular Music Award, which is equivalent to Grammy in Korea, Grand Prix from the International Theater Festival in Lithuania, 1st Prize from Sakhalin Ethnic Music Competition in Russia, and 2018 Songlines Music Awards Asia & Pacific Winner from Songlines Magazine in the UK.
    Ms. Park has been selected as a Next Generation Artist by the Arts Council of Korea. Ms. Park is a founding member of NohlaeBox production. NohlarBox is recognized as a leader of contemporary and experimental Pansori theater, and as the director of NohlaeBox, she has produced several award-winning works.
    2013 performance is her 2nd appearance with LGCO.
