Jae Hyo Chang

Biography

Mr. Jae Hyo Chang is a Korean traditional vocalist and percussionist. Recently he was appointed as the director of the prestigious Seoul Drum Festival 2023. He works as Sonagi Project’s CEO, representing world music ensembles at national festivals. As an active performer, Mr. Chang has toured globally in more than twenty countries, including Argentina, Brazil, Turkmenistan, and Australia.

Mr. Chang is the recipient of the 1st Soorim Newwave Awards. In addition to his activities as an artist, he is also interested in community services and currently serves as the art director of the Korean Traditional Orchestra of the Blind.
