曲目介紹
为中国管乐器而作的《Spring Breathes IV》是今年参与美国布希河艺文基金会（Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts）驻村计画时所创作的作品。乐曲描绘了自然万象从冬天至春天景致变换的一首音诗。
《Spring Breathes IV》作为 MUPA 音乐节的一部分受邀为本次【丝弦情 XLIII】音乐会的委托创作并首演，献给小巨人丝竹乐团及指挥陈志升先生。
Spring Breaths IV for Chinese wind instruments was composed during my artist residency at Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts in USA in 2017. It is a sound poem which portraits the change of landscape from winter to spring.
I composed Spring Breathes IV for Little Giant Chamber Chinese Orchestra (gCO) to be premiered as part of the Taiwan-MUPA Concert at National Recital Hall in Taipei, Taiwan on June 8th, 2016. It is dedicated to conductor Chih-Sheng Chen and Little Giant Chamber Chinese Orchestra.
